Governor appoints Judge Scroggin to Livestock and Poultry Commission

Congratulations to our County Judge Preston Scroggin who was appointed by Governor Mike Beebe to be the newest Director of the Arkansas Livestock and Poultry Commission. 

A special meeting of the Quorum Court has been called for Jan 31st, and the court will be asked to declare a vacancy. The Quorum Court also has the responsibility of voting to appoint a new County Judge to fill the remainder of Judge Scroggin's term.
