The 20th Judicial District of Arkansas is comprised of Faulkner County, Van Buren County, and Searcy County.  The Prosecuting Attorney’s Office is responsible for criminal prosecution of state crimes in all three counties.  The mission of the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office is to enhance public safety and welfare to create a sense of security in the community so that the enforcement of criminal laws is done in a just, honest, efficient, and ethical manner.

The highest priority of the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office is to seek justice for victims of crime and their families.  This office seeks to punish criminals, help recover restitution for victims of crime, and rehabilitate non-violent offenders who have shown a positive change in their lives.  Our community experiences a wide variety of crimes including heinous murders of adults and children, sexual assault, sexual and physical abuse of children, abuse of the elderly, domestic violence, gang violence, the distribution of dangerous and illegal drugs, and numerous other offenses.  The Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, in conjunction with local law enforcement agencies, seeks to apprehend and prosecute criminals helping to make our neighborhoods safer and benefit society as a whole.
