Governor Mike Beebe and Department of Rural Services Director Butch Calhoun presented $171,600.16 to 16 rural communities selected for Fiscal Year 2010 Cycle I funding through the Arkansas Rural Community Grant Program at an award ceremony held November 10, 2009 in the Governor's Reception Room at the Arkansas State Capital. In attendance were representatives receiving an Arkansas Rural Fire Protection Grant award on behalf of Wooster. The Wooster Volunteer Fire Department received $5,352.50 to replace the hoses on their engines.Â
