Faulkner County, AR, MAY 2, 2011:Â Faulkner County and the Faulkner County Office of Emergency Management would like to share with you the following information concerning disaster response for affected storm victims.
As a result of the extensive time required for the Federal Government to declare these storm events affecting thousands of our Faulkner County citizens a federal disaster, Faulkner County and its agencies have determined that it must be proactive in the recovery from the recent storm damage by initiating the first stages of clean-up. In order to facilitate this, the storm victims are asked to do the following:
-Â Â Â Separate the storm debris into three (3) piles (1) recyclable metals;(2) green timber, e.g. trees, shrubs, and vegetation; and (3) household debris, e.g. lumber, clothing, appliances, and furniture.
-Â Â Â Place the separated debris on the road right-of-way, but not on the road.
For those that have road damage, they can call either (501) 450-4901 or (501) 450-4930.
