Faulkner County, Arkansas

Last week the 2010 Association of Arkansas Counties Annual Conference was held in Hot Springs.  There was someone to represent 71 of 75 counties in Arkansas at the conference.  The theme for this year's conference was Composing the Future "A Symphony of Balance".  Some of the guest speakers included, The Honorable Glen Whitley, President of National Association of Counties, County Judge of Tarrant County Texas, Lyle Sumek, Doctor of Public Administration, Governor Mike Beebe, The Honorable Senator Blanch Lincoln and The Honorable Congressman John Boozman.  The purpose of the Association of Arkansas Counties is to work for the improvement of county government in the state of Arkansas.
