Last week was the Association of Arkansas Counties 2009 Annual conference. This year the conference was held in Springdale. There was someone there to represent their county from almost every county in Arkansas. Some of the guest speakers included, professional speaker/trainer, Gail "Wild Bill" Hinshaw, NACo President-Elect, The Honorable Teresa Altemus, United States Senator, The Honorable Blanche Lincoln, and former Senator David H. Pryor. The purpose of the Association of Arkansas Counties is to work for the improvement of county government in the state of Arkansas.
