The rain shower we had on Monday morning caused a lot of trouble for the Faulkner County courts building.  Workers were in the process of putting a new roof on the building when it started to rain.  They were able to get most of the roof covered up but did not get all of it in time.  The water leaked through the roof and caused water damage to some offices, the bathrooms, and one of the courtrooms.  According to David Smith,  county maintenance department, the ceiling tiles sustained most of the water damage and they  were replaced shortly after.  The roof is fixed now and the building did not receive any water damage during Tuesday's rain shower.Â
