Faulkner County, Arkansas
judge-blog
As 2008 winds down I am reminded again and again of how much we have to be thankful for in Faulkner County. Even in these tough economic times we still see new businesses and jobs coming to our county. That is not to say we don't have our share of problems. I am sure most have heard of the county's budget discussions over the past month. No one agency was immune from the cutbacks we had to undergo. At the same time no services were ever in jeopardy of not being met. We will never have enough funding to solve all of our problems. We will together make choices of what is most important in our funding priorities. I wish we all had a crystal ball to look into the next year. These will be challenging times. I do believe that we will rise to the top and continue to make Faulkner County the best place to live in the State of Arkansas. May you have a safe and prosperous 2009.Â
